It’s a personal portrait of Robert Morris, an ex-Marine, who started a trucking company only to lose everything in the fuel crunch of 2008.
The Cornerstone Rescue Mission provides vulnerable women, children and men with a place to call home when they’re in crisis or transition. Cornerstone’s staff and volunteers are committed to social change and work to build a healthy community by helping Rapid City’s homeless population become self-sufficient. To that end, their holistic approach to homelessness includes programs such as the Women & Children’s Home, Cornerstone Apartments and an initiative dedicated solely to homeless veterans.
